"Ona, one of the most beautiful encounter of my life. Adopted in August 2020, our beautiful Ona was very sensitive very fearful probably due to a violent past.
He chose us and thanks to that, our first connection was instinctive and easy. Nevertheless, coming from traditional horse riding, came the moment when I wanted to set rules (when I want or where I want). Doubt, frustration and tears ... Leila entered my life just at that moment. Miracle, she helped me to perceive Ona's reactions in a different way, more tolerant, more peaceful, more positive.
She helped me to trust myself and to trust HIM and to listen to my heart and my emotions. She helped me to understand how to put myself in Ona's place, to accept to be his referent today and to envisage that in the near future he would become mine, when he would be ready or rather when WE would be ready.
Today, May 2021, 9 months later (the time a woman needs to give birth to a child), Ona spends entire days in total freedom outside of the house, he calls me, he seeks me, he guides me. My wildest dreams came true, without fear, without effort, just at our own pace. I will never have enough words to say thank you.
